The possibly grim reality of the future if Earth

Image
Grim Reality for the Earth's Future Earths temperature is increasing rapidly and it seems to have a compound interest type of pattern. Current projections show that not only is Earth warming, the rate at which it is warming is increasing as well, almost like the stock markets famous compound interest rate. This is obviously an issue and in order to address it we need to first understand why this is happening.  Earth is warming due to high levels of harmful gases known as greenhouse gases building up in the atmosphere. This buildup is largely due to humans and their activities. With that being said, human beings actions in the next 70 years is the biggest precursor to the future health of our planet and survival of our species. How much energy will we use? How big will the population be? These are all questions we need to ask ourselves and plan for if we are going to try and setup a solution.  Speaking of solutions there only seems to be two. Option one is to somehow remove the...

The inebidible reshaping of the world as Earth approaches 3c warming rate

The Inevitable Re-Shaping of the World      Nearly every continent on the world is on track to have one of its major coastal cities, which are all densely populated and are economic and social super centers in their regions, sink permanently underwater. This is estimated and projected to happen within the next 75 years or so. The official estimated time is around the year 2100. These cities will sink due to the increasing climate causing sea levels to rise.       Although the entire world will be effected by this crisis, Asian countries will be effected disproportionately. Given the general volatility of the Southern Pacific and also the fact that many asian countries are just small islands, puts this group in the greatest danger. For example, Osaka, Japan which is one of the countries biggest port cities is on track to be completely submerged by 2100. This would displace a whopping 5.2 million people! Another country that would be greatly effect...

How Salmon are being effected by Earths rising temperatures

How Salmon is Being Affected by Earth's Rising Temperature Global warming is obviously a massive issue for any and everything on the planet. However, certain species and populations are being hit harder than others, and few to none have been hit as hard as the chinook salmon. This fish is a popular food choice for millions of humans and also plays a vital role in the transfer of marine nutrients to inland waterways.       These salmon losing their numbers and potentially becoming extinct would mean more than just a seafood shortage, it would mean thousands of other aquatic creatures both in the open ocean and inland rivers and streams would begin to die off as well. These fish are rapidly losing numbers due to the loss of their waterways.       The water is considerably warmer, hindering their ability to spawn in streams and inland waterways. Also, the water levels are low due to the loss of snow pack, which is melted snow that drips...
